Up for sale is a very original, period correct, documented 3rd owner Chevelle SS. This car has spent 100% of its life in rural Iowa. The 2nd owner purchased the car from Hughes Motors in Council Bluffs, Iowa in October of 1967 and owned until we purchased the vehicle from him in 2022. We believe the car might have been a Dealer demo car for the first year of life.
It has documented paperwork proving the ownership, maintenance, engine specs, and mileage. All original body panels, with one repaint to original color in the 90’s. Interior is all original, and shows extremely well for the age. Engine is a built L-88 427 sold new from Bob Brown in 1970. Transmission is the original Turbo 400 with an aggressive shift kit and reverse valve body shift pattern.
